Please rinse and dispose of your recyclables in the recycle bins provided in the building. There is a separate room dedicated for trash and recycling, which includes a utility sink with hot/cold running water.
Tent Camping
Each site is designed for the RV camper and each camper is required to have a vehicle as a basecamp. You may pitch a tent in your reserved space, but may not occupy an unreserved camp site. If you have tent campers with you that wish to reserve a separate camp site, have them contact me at 907-723-8665 for a tent camping reservation in an unoccupied RV site.
Vehicles
Please do not obstruct any neighboring camping sites if they are reserved and/or occupied. Our park is cozy and sites are close together, so please just use your best judgement. If sites are not occupied during your stay, feel free to spread out or move to another site. Contact me if you wish to move and we'll make sure you don’t move into a reserved spot.
Bicycles
We are a very pedestrian and bicycle friendly town, however we share the road equally with motorized traffic. There are no separate bike trails on the side of the roads. While here, please follow the “Ride Right, Walk Left” motto. Ride bikes on the right side of the street, walk on the left side.
Children
Parents are responsible for their children's whereabouts, safety and behavior at all times. We currently do not offer any playground equipment on site, but the Salmon River Park is an easy walking distance, located about a 1/2 mile from the RV park. It includes a swing set, picnic tables, fire pit, and other playground equipment for your children to climb around on and play. Please dont leave young children unattended in the bath house.
Pets
Dogs and cats are the only pets allowed in the park. All pets must be kept on a leash, or under the direct supervision and control of its human at all times. Pets showing signs of aggression must be leashed, or kept confined at all times.
Please clean up after your pet immediately and dispose of their bagged waste in the trash.
Pets may not be tethered to any Hollywood Farms property, utility fixtures, trees or fences in Hollywood Farms RV Park. If you must leave your pet unattended, please do so in the confines of your RV or camper.
Bears and Wildlife
We have an abundance of wildlife! Do your part to keep your space free from
free from waste, trash, trash cans, food, dirty dishes, recycling, coolers, freezers, fishing gear, etc. Bears reside in Gustavus and can be curious creatures if you give them the opportunity. It is extremely important you don't invite them in to investigate. Moose are frequent neighbors as well. Keep your distance if you see them, they are wild. Especially when they have calves. They can be very dangerous if approached.
If you are fishing, DO NOT CLEAN YOUR FISH OR DISPOSE OF ANY FISH WASTE IN OUR PARK. Please do that on the boat - out on the ocean. Disposing of fish waste cannot happen in our park. This WILL bring bears, dogs, birds, etc.
The link below offers some guidance on what you should know about bears if you are curious to know more. We have black bears and brown bears in Gustavus and Glacier Bay National Park. Please click on the link to learn more.
