ABOUT US

Hollywood Farms RV Park is a NEW locally owned seasonal RV park, located just 3 miles from the entrance of GLACIER BAY NATIONAL PARK.

To get to Glacier Bay, you have a few options, but be sure to pick up the latest version of the acclaimed Alaska travel planner guidebook "THE MILEPOST"! This is a "must-have" travel planner for all RV wanderers through Alaska and Canada!

2 options for getting here in your RV;

1) You can drive all the way to Haines or Skagway, Alaska, where you'll connect to the Alaska Marine Highway. This is a wonderful road trip adventure followed by a boat trip. Be sure to make your ferry reservations ahead of time to ensure a spot on the boat. Reservations can fill up fast so definitely don't wait!

2) You can also connect to the Alaska Marine Highway from Bellingham, Washington if you wish to bypass Canada. This adds a little bit of time to your ferry adventure, but might be a time saver if you're into that sort of thing. But this is the independent cruise of a lifetime without all the hustle and bustle of a busy cruise ship vacation. Pack your own supplies for a 3 day boat ride, and be sure to rent a state room if you'd like some privacy, however you can also pitch a tent on the ferry! Yep - camping in tents is permitted and can save you some cash. There is a heated sun deck that is perfect for camping! You can even pack your own food for the trip and save a few more bucks if you're on a tight budget. You wont be allowed to sleep in your RV while on the boat due to Coast Guard regulations.

Once here, the entrance to our RV park is 2.5 miles from the ferry dock. Glacier Bay National Park is just 3 miles from your campsite!

To BOOK NOW for the upcoming summer season, select the "MAKE APPOINTMENT" button and start planning your next road trip adventure!

Our RV park offers a NEW bathhouse facility that includes Wi-Fi, laundry, 2 bathrooms and 1 shower. Sites offer 30 amp power and water. There is a dump station on site as well. so stay as long as you want! There is a grocery store next door as well, but take advantage of stocking up on supplies before you arrive, as hours of operation and essential supplies may become limited in Gustavus from time to time.

Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM - 5:00 AM. Please be considerate of others and help maintain a quiet space for those around you; Alaska is quiet. You may need some time to adjust if you are from a big city.

Dark Hours
Following the same concept, 11:00PM - 5:00AM are the conceptual dark hours. Please kindly turn off all your outside lights when not in use during this time of night. As you may have heard, it doesn't get too dark in Alaska. This is especially true on days with no overcast or clouds.

Outdoor Space
You may set up your own tables, chairs and awnings within your designated space. You may cook using your own PROPANE barbeque. We do not provide propane, you must bring your own.

Outdoor Fires
A communal firepit is available for use. Firewood will be made available during your stay. We do our best to keep a supply on hand, but it is not guaranteed. You can buy bundles of firewood in Juneau, but currently there is no retail option in Gustavus for firewood. DO NOT CUT OUR TREES on the property.
There may also be burn bans in effect during dry times  of the season. Signs will be posted if this is the case. We follow all guidance by our local fire department.

Charcoal barbeques are not permitted in our park. However briquettes are permitted when used in the communal fire pit.

You may park in front of the building while you are actively using our facility. Please do not leave your vehicle parked there overnight. There is a couple overflow parking spots available near the entrance.

Bicycles
We are a very pedestrian and bicycle friendly town, however we share the road equally with motorized traffic. Please educate your children about the dangers of riding bikes on roadways, and encourage them to wear helmets. In Gustavus, please follow the “Ride Right, Walk Left” motto. Ride bikes on the right side of the street, walk on the left side, and keep children from playing in the roadway or entrance of the park or nearby grocery store.

Children
Parents are responsible for their children's whereabouts, safety and behavior at all times. We currently do not offer any playground equipment on site, but the Salmon River Park is located about a 1/2 mile from the RV park. It includes a swing set, picnic tables, fire pit, and other playground equipment for you and your children to play on.

Pets
Dogs and cats are the only pets allowed in the park. All pets must be kept on a leash, or under the direct supervision and control of its human at all times. Pets showing signs of aggression must be leashed, or kept confined at all times.
Please clean up waste after your pet immediately and dispose of their waste in the receptacle provided. Pets may not be tethered to any property, utility fixtures, trees or fences in Hollywood Farms RV Park. If you must leave your pet unattended, please do so in the confines of your RV or camper. Bears, Eagles, and Moose are a threat to your pets if left unattended outdoors.
